Hosting Weddings Since the 1990s

About Us

Brookshire Gardens was built in 1852, two years after the town of El Dorado was established. The house and barn were originally part of an 82-acre cattle ranch. In addition, the ranch’s blacksmith shop was located in the barn. Since then, the land has been divided, and the house and barn remain on two acres.

The house survived two major fires. The first, in 1923, burned down all but a few structures in the town. In 2004, a second fire occurred, caused by a defective wood stove.

We have been hosting weddings and events since the early 1990s and enjoy sharing the grounds to help our customers create lasting memories. Our team looks forward to turning your dream celebration into reality.
